The Nominees for Business Person of the year are:
Tonia Curry - The Man Cave
Tonia had a life long dream of opening a salon. Being a Mother/ StepMom to nine boys a salon geared toward Big and little guys seemed appropriate, that’s how the Main Cave came to be. Creating a strong foundation for Women to feel secure, confident and have room for growth within the company is very important to her. She wanted to empower Women to be independent in an industry that is difficult to survive in.
Her vision came to life three years ago in Escanaba where she changed the way Men viewed getting a haircut. It truly is an experience with our main focus on building relationships with each of our guests in a positive, fun environment. Her passion, energy and drive as a leader have led her to having an amazing team. One year ago, she opened her second shop, in her home town of Marquette and is looking forward to opening in Iron Mountain in the coming year. Tonia says, “Who knows where this journey will take me, there are times I have to pinch myself wondering if it is all a dream, I am so happy I took the risk.”

Viau, Inc. is owned by Randy Viau and is a Design-Build construction company specializing in Commercial and Industrial building projects while self-performing design, construction management and multiple disciplines within the construction fields.
